Complexa grape
The Complexa grape was created as a crossing of Castelao, Muscat Hamburg and Tintinha in the 1960s. it is used alongside Tinta Negra in Madeira wines. (Wikipedia). Complexa is not a widely grown grape in Madeira.
It is quite rare to see this grape aging in barrels canteiro style, but in 2023 there was such a barrel in the Henriques and Henriques canteiro warehouse in Camera de Lobos.
